He was an active member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church and a niember of Golden Glories. ; Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Judy Wyatt Bowling, of the home; a son, Donnle Bowling (Beth), of Greenville; two sisters, sisters, Olivia Chitwood (Arthur), of Williams-ton Williams-ton Williams-ton and Brenda Lesley, of Greenville; three brothers, William Bowling, Ronald Bowling Bowling (Brenda), and Rev. Mike Bowling (Char-lene), (Char-lene), (Char-lene), all of Greenville; and two grandsons, Brandon and Nicholas Bowling. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Frances Burgess; and three brothers, Paul Junior Bowling, Bobby Joe Bowling, and Jimmy Jimmy Bowling. ; Visitation was Tuesday, Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Funeral Home, Northwest.
