Obituaries iff i Bono Funeral Chapel, with burial in Ft. Prince Memorial Gardens. The family Is at the homo of James Page 1JD Northview St. Lyman. Jerry Teague PICKENS Jerry Pad-cn Teague, 44, of 201 Garner Road, a supervisor for Piedmont Tool and Die Company, died Wednesday.

Born In Pickens, son of Mrs. Catherine Simmons Teague of Pickens and the late Nicholas T. Teague, he was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Keowee Lodge No. 79 AFM, Woodmen of the World and American Legion, served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a graduate of Furman University.

Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Martha Shehan Teague; two daughters, Jerri Lynn Teague and Julie Teague of the home; Homer Smith SIX MILE Homer C. Smith, a retired farmer, of Rt. 1, Six Mile, Gates section, died Wedwsday. A native of Pickens County, son of the late, Wiley Cornel ious and Rebecca Smith Smith, he was a Baptist.

Surviving ure his wife, Mrs. Beulah Brown Smith; three sons, Ralph H. Smith of Seneca, L. G. Smith of Mauldin and Charles W.

Smith of Eas-ley; three daughters, Mrs. Viola Simpson of Fort Mill. Mrs. Wilma Win-Chester of Pickens and if six grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and two great great grandchil-dien. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Friday at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. April Smith GREENWOOD April Michelle Smith, three-year-old daughter of Thomas A. and Theressa Green Smith, of Highland Trailer Park, died Wednesday.

Surviving also are two sisters, Crystal Lynn and Sonya Renee Smith of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin "Peanut" Green and Mrs. Frances Smith of Greenwood; great-grandparents, 01 in Richey of Union and Mrs. Mattie Green of Honca Path.

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Church of God of Prophecy on Blyth Road, with burial in Greenville Presbyterian Church cemetery. The body is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Green, 517 East Cambridge and will be placed in the church 2 p.m.

Hughes Mrs. l.ilu lix'ktf Hutu's, 89, formerly of Green-wood, widow of Fdward Cleveland "Cleve" Hughes, died Tuesday. A native of Greenville, daughter of the late William Henry and Florence Beacham Locke, she was a member of Central Baptist Church in Greenville. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack Allison of Anderson; three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The Mackey Mortuary. Mrs.

Cecil Smith Sr. SPARTANBURG Mrs. Fwa Davenport Smith, 73, of 232 Anita Drive, a former clerk for Sou hern Bell Telephone and Telegraph wife of Cecil 0. Smith died Tuesday. A native of Spartanburg, daughter of the late Luna M.

and Fannie Davenport, she was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving also are a son. Civil Smith Jr. of Philadelphia, a brother, J. William Davenport of Spartanburg; three half brothers, Guy Milton G.

and Luna M. Davenport Jr. of Spartanburg; a half sister, Mrs. Julia Fetters of Emerson, N.J.; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Sherman Chastain GREENWOOD Sherman Edgar Chastain, 57, a carpenter, of Lake Shore Drive, died Tuesday. A native of Anderson, son of Mrs. Edna Atkins Chastain of Greenwood and the late John Sylvester Chastain, he was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a member of Woodfields Baptist Church. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Harkey Chastain; four stepsons, John Calvert of Greenwood, Lewis Calvert of the home, William Calvert of Greenville and Furman E.

Calvert Jr. of Lacy, a sister, Mrs. Joe II. Bennett of Greenwood; three brothers, Melvin Chastain of Inman, Clyde Chastain of Greenwood and Lloyd Chastain of Commerce, and three grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m.

Surviving are three Mrs. Eunice Martin of Central; two brothers, Arthur and Evertie Smith of Rutherfordton, N.C.; two Mrs. Mamie Bell of Clemson and Mrs.

Lexie Kelley of Central; 16 grandchildren; 28 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great grandson. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Six Mile Baptist Church, with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home, Easley, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

The body will be placed in the church 2:30 p.m. Friday. Horace Stamey PENDLETON Horace G. Stamey, 64, of Rt. 2, Pendleton, a retired employe of The Clemson House, died Wednesday.

A native of Franklin County, son of the late John 0. and Sallie Benfield Stamey, he was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church, near dens. The family is at the home of Mrs. Joe Bennett, Marshall Road. Charles Turner Charles Wilton Turner, 43, of 16 Yale Cameo Trailer Park, died Wednesday.

Born in Greenville County, a son of Mrs. Mabel Boling Turner of Greenville and the late Roy Turner, he was employed with Cryovac Division of W.R. Grace and Company at Duncan and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Stewart Turner; three daughters, Wanda Turner, Donna Turner and Rita Turner of Greenville; a daughter by a former marriage, Debbie Howard of Greenville; three sisters, Mrs.

Ann T. Ross of Taylors, Mrs. Marion T. McCIellan of Sunny Vale, and Mrs. Joyce T.

Carter of Greenville; two brothers Curtis Turner of Simpson-ville and Robert Lee Turner of Rock Hill. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. The family is at the home of Mr. Mrs. J.L.

Dodgens, Fish Trap Road, Rt. 3, Easley. Mrs. Josephine Smith INMAN Mrs. Josephine Ragan Smith, 45, of Rt.

5, died Wednesday. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of Mrs. Minnie Garrett Ragan of Inman and the late Edward B. Ragan. she was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Surviving also are two daughters, Lois Smith of Inman and Mrs. Nancy Canaday of Columbia; four sons, James, Jackie and David Smith and Thomas Ragan of Inman; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Spartanburg, Mrs. John Eppley and Mrs. John Stokeley of Woodruff; three brothers, Alvin D.

Thursday at Seawright Funeral Home, with burial James Page Sr. WELLFORD James Phillip Page, Sr. 63, of Rt. 1, Wellford, a Cecil Con-struction Company employe for 29 years, died Tuesday. Born in Gainesville, son of the late William Phillip and Maybelle Lee Page, he was a member of Central Church of Christ, Spartanburg, and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Rains Page; two daughters, Mrs. Ger-aldine Rhodes of Roebuck and Mrs. Teressa Cochran of Spartanburg; two sons, James P. Page Jr.

The FTC ordered manufacturers and retailers who offer warranties to put them on display so consumers can easily compare them.
