E. A. Osborne. Burial will be in Oconee Memorial Park. The body is at Ansel's Funeral Home.

The family is at the home of Mrs. L. J. James. Mrs.

R. P. Gaddy DILLON Mrs. Lillie Pruitt Gaddy, 60, wife of Rupert P. Gaddy, died Monday morning at her home in Dillon after a long Illness.

She was the daughter of the late James L. and Ella McCarter of Due West. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Rupert P. Gaddy Jr. of Greenville and J.

Edgar Gaddy of Greer; three brothers, Harold E. Pruitt and James Lindsey Pruit of Due West and R. Leland Pruitt of Newport; sisters, H. L. Cunningham three, ville, Mrs.

Thomas tireen: Princeton and Miss Mary E. Pruitt of Greenwood, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the residence by Rev. James F.

Dickerson and Dr. Fred J. Hay. Burial will be in Greenlawn Perpetual Cemetery. Arthur B.

Bryan SALUDA-Arthur Boyce 66, died Monday at 3 a.m. at his home after four months of illness. Mr. Bryan was a son of the late Preston Brooks Bryan and Mrs. Marsha Elizabeth Crouch Bryan and had lived in the Good Hope section of Saluda County for 54 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leeze Herring Bryan; a son, W. D. Bryan of North Augusta; three daughters, Mrs. Leeze Harbuck of North Augusta; Mrs.

Lois Seay of Marshallville, Mrs. Ann Cromer of Concord, N. two sisters, Mrs. Essie Ouzts of Saluda and Mrs. Aliene Jones of Greenwood; and five brothers, J.

Curtis Bryan of Atlanta, Jack Bryan of Mobile, Frank Bryan of Niceville, Fred Bryan of Johnston, and Ralph Bryan of Newberry. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church by Rev. B. J.

Welburn and Rev. J. C. McKitterick. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Ramey's Funeral Home is in charge.

B. J. Bouknight SALUDA Benjamin Francis Bouknight died Monday at 12:15 a.m. at his home after an extended illness. Mr.

Bouknight was a son of hte late R. B. Bouknight and Mrs. Ora Schumpert Bouknight and had lived in Saluda all his life. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Katie Kennerly Bouknight; a sister, Mrs. Miriam B. Epps of Campobello; brother, Rubie Bouknight of Saluda. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Emory Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev.

W. C. Reid. Ramey's Funeral Home is in charge. Robert J.

Corley WATTSVILLE Robert Jack Corley, 48, of 33 Sirrine St. died Monday at 4:30 p.m. at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Corley was a native of Aiken County, a son of the late Robert Corley and Mrs.

Fannie Dease Corley. He had been a textile employe and was a member of Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances Whiten Corley; a brother, Henry Corley of Philadelphia, two sisters, Mrs. Lindsey Cooper of Langley and Mrs.

Sam Arthurs of Brunswick, Ga. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Kennedy Mortuary. Mrs. John Woodle CHESTER Mrs. Margaret Virginia Mitcham Woodle, 45, wife of John Woodle, died early Saturday night at a Chester hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Woodle was born in York County and was a daughter of Mrs. Mary Griggs Mitcham Miller of Chester. and the late John Mitcham. She was a member of St.

James Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; a son, Richard Woodle; her mother; and her step-father, C. D. Miller of Chester. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 3 p.m.

at Lowry's Baptist Church by Rev. Charles R. Lawson, and Rev. E. W.

Buckner. Burial was in Chester Me-' morial Gardens. Otis W. Taylor GREER Otis W. Taylor, 52, formerly of Rt.

1, Greer, died in a veterans hospital in Richmond, Sunday at 7:15 a.m. after several years of declining health and an illness of six months. Born and reared in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Toy and Eunice Bruce Taylor. He had lived in Lynchburg, for the past 12 years and was a veteran of World War II and a member of Milford Baptist Church near Greer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Bessie Johnson Taylor; two daughters, Mrs. Eileen Flynn and Mrs. Verdenia Kemp of Greer; four sons, Lynn Taylor of Rt. 2, Landrum, C.S, 2 Calvin Taylor of the U. S.

Navy, Philadelphia, Lewis Taylor and Fred Taylor of Greer; three sisters, Vera Johnson of Rock Hill, Lula Mrs. Mae Smith of Greenville, and Mrs. Veltra Smith of Travelers Rest: a brother, Jonah Taylor of Greenville: and 18 grandchildren. Tuesday. G. A. Costley POMARIA Gadston Alton Costley, 58, died early morning at his home in Pomaria, of a sudden illness. Mr.

Costley was born in Atlanta, and was the son of the late John and Minnie Knight Costley. For a number of years he had made his home in Pomaria and until his retirement several years ago was the er and operator of Costley Snack Shop. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Ringer Costley of Pomaria; a son, Roy A. Costley of West Columbia; three brothers, William Costley and Aaron Costley both of Atlanta, Ga.

James Costley of Statesboro, three sisters, Mrs. D. L. Thomas of Chattanooga, Mrs. Luther Cash and Mrs.

Cecil Fulcher both of Atlanta, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p. m. Monday at Pomaria Lutheran Church by Rev. William C.

Wood and Rev. Miles T. Cullum. Burial was in the church cemetery. Howard Infant Private funeral services for Margery Aimar Howard, five-dayold daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. A. McNeil Howard Jr. of 405 Wac- camaw were conducted Monday at 3:30 p. m.

at the graveside in Woodlawn Memorial Park by Rev. Cooper Patrick. The baby died Sunday, at 4:30 p. m. at a local hospital.

Mrs. Howard was Miss Marg. ery Brown Holston before her marriage. Surviving also are one sister, Sandra Howard; three brothers, Pat, Mac and Jimmy Howard; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

G. W. Holston of Reedley, and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.

Taylor, 86, retired farmer who died 1 Saturday night, were conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home by Rev. Horace Benjamin. Burial was in Little River Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons were pallbearers.

Mrs. M. C. Smith SALUDA Mrs. Anna Black Smith, 83, widow of Matthew C.

Smith, died at 11 a.m. Sunday morning at a local hospital after about six months illness. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Katherine Balentine Black and for the past 1 few years had made her home with her daughter Mrs. Hobson Able. Surviving are two daughters.

Mrs. Hobson Able of Saluda and Mrs. Lorine Milford of Greenwood; and a son, L. M. Smith of Johnston.

Funeral services were conducted at Butler Methodist Church Monday at 3 p.m. by Rev. W. C. Reid.

Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. J. G. Graham SENECA Mrs.

Bertha Eubanks Graham, 75, of 315 S. Fairplay widow of Rev. John Giroud Graham, died Monday at 6:15 a.m. in a local hospital after an illness of three months. Mrs.

Graham was a native of Oakway community, a daughter of the late John A. Eubanks and Mrs. Tallulah Bearden Eubanks. Her husband, a Baptist minister, held pastorates in North and at Charleston and was pastor at Hogansville, when he died in 1939. Since her husband's death Mrs.

had with her daughter, Gwendolyn G. Graham, Barnes in Seneca. She was a member of Seneca Baptist Church, a member of Nina Gillespie Circle and teacher of the TEL Sunday School Class for several years. Surviving are son, John G. Graham; a daughter, Mrs.

Gwendolyn G. Barnes of Seneca; a brother, LaRue Eubanks of Clayton, and a sister, Mrs. A. D. Bowen of Oakway; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Seneca Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. J. P. Stokes and Rev.

P. M. Dorr. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at Oakway. Pallbearers will be Dewitt Hyder, Furman Cole, Dewey Bowen, Luther Richey Mac Graham, and O.

J. Graham. Honorary escort will be members of the TEL Sunday School Class. The body is at Brown's Funeral Home until 3 p.m. Tuesday when will be placed in the church.

The family is at the home. Fred Whitlock CLINTON W. Fred Whitlock, 60, died suddenly early Monday morning at his home on Musgrove Street after several years of declining health. A native of Laurens County he had spent most of his life in Clinton. He was a son of the late Robert Lee and Bessie Cole Whitlock, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was twice married. His first marriage was to Mrs. Grace Thompson Whitlock who died in 1954. His second marriage was to Mrs. Eunice Grace Whitlock.

Surviving in addition to his ond wife are one step daughter, Miss Dianne Krisco of Clinton; three sisters, Mrs. W. Lee as of Joanna, Mrs. Clara Payne of Laurens, and Mrs. J.

F. Thomas of Charlotte, N. and a brother, Paul Whitlock of Laurens. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev.

J. W. Spillers and Rev. Clyde Peterson. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Clinton.

Pallbearers will be Vernon A. Trammell, Hall King, Jack Red, Tan Ray, R. E. Poole, and Fred Bragg Jr. The body is at the home, 508 Musgrove St.

Gray Funeral Home is in charge. James C. Owens Funeral services for James C. Owens, 55, of Dyer City View, will be conducted by Rev. Roy Gowan, Rev.

S. W. Jolly and Rev. Otis McKinnon p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home.

Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Keith Plyler, David Blackwell, Ira Campbell, Carl Thomas Hendrix Odom and Clarence Gilbert. Honorary escort will be members the Builders Class of Monaghan Baptist Church, and members of Monaghan Lodge 251, with Spencer Carr and Tom Chiles. Mr. Owens died at a local hospital at 12:50 a.m.

Monday after an illness of three days. Born March 15, 1905 in Anderson, he was a son of the late J. F. T. and Rintha Timms Owens.

For 35 years he made his home in Greenville. He was connected with Furman University in the maintenance department. He was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church and the Builders Class of the Sunday School. Mr. Owens was a 32nd Degree Mason: chaplain and a past master of Monaghan Lodge 251, past patron of the Eastern Star; a Shriner, and a former member of the Shrine Patrol.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Oviedo Henderson Owens of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Owen and Mrs. Bertie Lee Hodges of Greenville: two brothers, John T. Owens of Greenville and Ralph of Charlotte, N.

and several nieces and nephews. The body will remain at the funeral home. Jesse L. Hall WALHALLA Funeral for Jesse Lent Hall, 53, formerly of Walhalla, who died Thursday at 12:30 in a veterans hospital in Bay Pines, will be conducted at Ebenezer Baptist Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev.

Foster Gentry, Rev. Glenn Stewart, Rev. J. C. Byers, and Rev.

Elmo Bowen. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with the Louis E. Blanchet of the American Legion in charge. Pallbearers will be Billy and George Hall, Roger Whitfield, Beverly Lecroy, and C. J.

Conway. The body is at the home on Salem Highway. S. M. Capell GREER Jerry Bob Burgess, 28, of 25 Clairview Chamblee, died late Sunday afternoon in an Atlanta hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Burgess was born in Greer and was the son of Henry Burgess of Spartanburg and the late Letha Howard Burgess. He attended the Greer schools, had completed his army service and was graduated last June from the University of South Carolina. Since that time he had been employed as an auditor for the Arthur Anderson Co. in Atlanta.

Surviving in addition to his father, are his wife, Mrs. Jo Ann Howell Burgess; a Susan Gail Burgess of the home; and a sister, Mrs. A. A. Teasley of Jacksonville, Fla.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home of Mrs. Roy Howell, 218 Pine Street Greer. E. Y.

Henderson GREER E. Y. (Skeet) Henderson, 52, of Wood Road, Rt. 5, Greer, died Monday at 12:45 a.m. at his home after 18 months of declining health and an illness of three months.

Born and reared in Fountain Inn, he had lived in Greer for the past 38 years. He was the son of Mrs. Daisy Garrett derson of Greer and the late L. Cook Henderson. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greer.

Until recently he was a parner in the Henderson and Brady Electrical Co. here. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Aiken Henderson; three sisters, Mrs. Connie Miller and Mrs.

Matt Wood of Greer, Mrs. Martha Ludwick of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Paul L. Henderson and Louie Henderson of Greer.
