Mrs. S. W. Dickson NORRIS Mrs. Denlza Sheriff Dickson, 71, of Highway 123.

died in a Greenville hos pital at 3:18 a. m. Tuesday after an Illness of three years. She was a widow of Samuel Wallace Dickson, who died in 1925. A native of Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Rev.

Johnson hher-Iff and Fannio Stegall Sheriff. She lived near Liberty all her life and was a member of Smith's Grove Baptist Church Surviving are four sons, Gay born Robert Dickson of Easley, Edward Rcid Dickson of Lyman, Sherwood Ralph and Elbert R. Dickson of the home; a dauchtcr. Mrs. Jim Frank Cox of Easley; five brothers, Sam, Robert and Bluford Sheriff of Easley, Elbert Sheriff of Lyman and Julius bncrut of Greenville; three sisters, Mrs.

S. E. Davis, Mrs. Har mon Waldrop and Mrs. Ruth Adcox of Easley; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will bo conducted at 4 p. m. Wednesday at Smith's Grove Baptist Church by Rev. James Hampton, Rev. Allen Owens and Rev.

A. C. Harrison. Burial will be In the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy, Hoke, Jack and Samuel Cox, Raymond and Samuel Dickson.

He was past president of the Anderson County Bar Association and a member of the American Bar Association. He also was a member of the Anderson Ki-wanis Club and the First Baptist Church where he taught a Sunday School class many years. A class now has been named in his honor. He was first associated with the firm of Bonham, Watkins and Allen, which later became Allen Jones. He was born in Dillon County, son of the late Rev.
