at Baptist Church by Rev. A. E. Osborne and Rev. Harry Lee Thomas.

Entombment will be in the family mausoleum in the church cemetery. The body is at Gantt Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be omitted. Mrs. Arthur Allen Funeral services for Mrs.

Sallie Allen, 83, widow of Arthur Allen, 100 Sandra who died Friday, wil be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Big Creek Baptist Church Williamston, by Rev. M. H. Timms and Rev.

Wayne Coat. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at Gray Mortuary In Pelzer and will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Sunday. H.

G. McAlister WILLIAMSTON Harold Guyton McAlister, 43, died at an Anderson hospital Saturday at 5:21 p.m. after a year of declining health and an illness of a month. He was a native of Anderson County and lived all of his life in the Williamston area. He was a son of the late Edgar and Theolia Rogers McAlister.

He was a member of Whitfield Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gladys May McAlister; four sons, Gilbert, Jackie, Stanley and Timothy, all of the home; four brothers, Frank, Herman and Clyde McAlister, all of Williamston, and Rupert McAlister of Belton; two sisters, Mrs. Corine Brewer of St. George and Mrs.

Irene Williams of Williamston. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gray Mortuary of Pelzer. Fletcher Rector PELZER Fletcher James Rector, 67, Rt. 3, Pelzer, retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant, died at his home in the Sanoma School community Saturday at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Lois Ferguson UNION Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Morris Ferguson, 57, who died Friday, will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Green Street Methodist Church by Rev. Robert G.

Strother and Rev. Earl Vaughn. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Donald Cohen, Mack Oliver, Jenkins Farr, James Walker, Harry Lawter and Charles Cooksey. Sunday. Brown Mortuary is in charge. Mrs. Warren HONEA PATH--Mrs. Margaret Edna Warren, 41, 7 Pruitt died in an Anderson hospital Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Margaret Lunsford Parrish, 63, 101 Highland Courts Apartments, died Friday at 6 p.m. after a sudden illness. A native of Washington, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Maggie Lunsford. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, A.

R. Parrish; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Timmons of Clinton: a son, H. Godfrey Parrish of Cheraw; three sisters, Mrs. W.

L. Weeks of Savannah Beach, Mrs. Sarah Estelle of Augusta, and Mrs. Martin Miller of Laurens: and a brother, J. W.

Lunsford of Brennen, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. W.

H. Clapp. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The body is at J. F.

Floyd Mortuary. Mrs. Walter Nash FOUNTAIN INN-Mrs. Pauline Mahaffey Nash, 89, wife of the Walter M. Nash died at her home in upper Laurens County, Friday at 9:40 p.m.

She was a daughter of the late Lawson T. and Sally Sullivan Maheffey and was a native of Laurens County. She was a member of Lebanon Methodist Church, the WMS and the Sullivan-Dunklin Chapter of the DAR. Mossie Culbreth, 67, of Whitmire, died at a Spartanburg hospital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday after a brief illness. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Sara J. Epton.

She was a member of the First Methodist Wesleyan Church. She was the wife of the late William Culbreth. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clara Morse of Cincinnati, Ohio; four step-daughters, Mrs. Lucille Godfrey of Anderson, Mrs.

Janlette Palmer of Salisbury, Mrs. Vernie Emory of Chesnee, Mrs. Fallie Hudgins of Spartanburg; three step-sons, Olin Culbreth of Cowpens, Curtis Culbreth of Lyman, and Alfred Culbreth of Whitmire; two sisters, Mrs. M. P.

Cudd and Mrs. Ettys Mitchell of Spartanburg. Funeral arrangements will be announced by J. F. Floyd Mortuary of Spartanburg.

Mike W. Crouch JOHNSTON Mike W. Crouch died early Saturday in a Greenwood hospital after a long period of declining health. He was a son of the late Hardy and Fran Zura Smith Crouch. He was born in Saluda County, but had lived most of his life in Johnston.

He was in the hardware business until his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lottie W. Crouch; two daughters, Mrs. Frances C.

Timmerman of Johnston, and Mrs. Louise Trammell of Williamston; a son, Wilbur C. Crouch of Johnston; a sister, Mrs. Ben Rankin of Saluda; a brother, Henry Crouch of Saluda; eight grandchildren; and two great Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home by Rev.

Clyde A. Brooks and Rev. John Davis. Burial will be in Mt. of Olives Cemetery.

Van D. McKinney CLOVER Van Dawson McKinney, 70, of Bethel Street, died in a Charlotte, N.C., hospital Friday night. Born in York County, he was a son of the late William Alexander and Nora Johnson McKinney. He was an elder in the Clover Presbyterian Church, member of the Junior Order and was a retired barber. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Mattie Boyd McKinney; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Nesbitt of Newport News, two sisters, Mrs. W. H. McDaniel of York and Mrs.

Rosie Riddle of Sumpterville, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Clover Presbyterian Church by Rev. Dr. W.

Bowman. Burial will be in Bethel Presbyterian Church cemetery, The body is at M. L. Ford Sons Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

J. W. Garrett B.M.3 James Wesley "Jimmy" Garrett, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley M.

Garrett of 112 Adelaide Drive, was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident on Dec. 14 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he was stationed with the U.S. Navy. Born April 8, 1941 in Greenville, he spent most of his life here and was educated in the public schools of Taylors. His mother was the former Miss Mary Cooper.

He entered service with the Navy in February 1960, and had been stationed in Hawaii for the past six months. He was a member of the Hampton Heights Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived three sisters, Mrs. R. E.

Triplett of Taylors and Misses Kay and June Garrett of the home; a brother, Lt. Marion Donald Garrett now stationed at Hahn Air Force Base in Germany; his grandparents, Mrs. Janie P. Cooper and Mr. and Mrs.

C. W. Garrett, all of Greenville; and one niece and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Charles Nanney and Rev.

W. J. Jordan at the Hampton Heights Baptist Church at 2 p.m. today. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Johnny White, Walter White, Johnny Carlisle, Jimmy Turner, Horace Jones Jr. and Alan Bridgeman. The honorary escort will be the members of the Naval Reserve Units of Greenville and Billy Theodore, James Theodore, Horace Greer, O'dell Broadnax, A. O. Wright, W.

Scales. The Men's Bible Class of the First Presbyterian Church will compose the honorary escort. Dr. Davis died Friday, Dec. 14, Honolulu, Hawaii.

He served las a missionary to China for 30 years and since 1949 had been serving in Hawaii. At one. time he served as pastor of the Third Presbyterian Church here. The body is at the mortuary. Mrs.

Melvin Spoon GREENWOOD Mrs. Crystal Smith Spoon, 37, former resident of Greenwood, died Saturday morning from injuries received in an automobile accident in Lexington County. A native of Spartanburg, she was a daughter of Ed R. and Mrs. Lula Callicutt Smih.

She lived in Greenwood most of her life, but lived in Caycie in Richland County for the past seven months. She was a member of Jordon Street Baptist Church in Greenwood. Surviving are her husband, Melvin Spoon; two sons, Elmer and Donnie Spoon of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Richardson of Greenwood and Mrs. James Wyatt of Greenville; and three brothers, Dewey and John Smith of Greenwood and Ed Smith of Hendersonville, N.

C. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Jordon Street Baptist Church by Rev. J. F.

Monore and Rev. W. H. Beiers. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Carl McKinney, Dennis Edgins, Jackie Edgins, Ralph Lawrence, Frank Lawrence, Tom Fish and Irvin Crawford. The body is at the home of her father, Ed Smith, on the Highway 72 bypass. Gus Hawkins ilton 80, died PROSPERITY--Augustus Hamearly Saturday in a Newberry hospital after a number of years of declining health. Born and reared in the St. Lukes section of Newberry County, he was a son of the late Joseph Miles and Harriett Nichols Hawkins.

He was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church, a former member of the church council and was church treasurer for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Juliett Bedenbaugh Hawkins; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Zeigler of Lexington; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Lukes Lutheran Church by Rev. Harry Webber and Rev. Dr.

Thomas F. Suber. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Asbury Bedenbaugh, Joseph Bedenbaugh, Hazel Hawkins, Chester Hawkins, Ray Hunter, Roy Miller and Cornell Bedenbaugh. Honorary escort will be Cliff Boozer, Tom Kunkle, Lonnie Amick, Pat Moore, Dr.

Snow, died Saturday at 7:35 p.m. in a Spartanburg hospital after an illness of six months. She was a native of Spartanburg, a daughter of Mrs. Inez Beheler Pryor of Spartanburg and the late George P. Pryor Sr.

She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a son, Darrell Snow of the home; seven brothers, Jack, Bobby, Roger, Jimmy, Johnny, Jerry and George Pryor, all of Spartanburg; four sisters, Mrs. James Smith of Norfolk, Mrs. Gladys Medford, Mrs. Peggy Knooce and Miss Rebecca Pryor, all of Spartanburg.

Leonard, 51, Rt. 1, Pelzer, died Friday at 10 p.m. from injuries received when he was struck by an automobile. Born and reared in Reidville. he was a son of Mrs.

Margaret Hendrix Leonard and the late Middleton Isham Leonard. He attended the Greer schools, Spartanburg Junior College and was graduated from North Greenville Junior College. He had served pastorates in Burnsview, Franklin, Words Memorial, Padgetts Creek, Friendship, Sulphur Springs, Putman, Bethel and Cedar Shoals Baptist Church. At the time of his death, he was pastor of White Plains Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Mrs.

Ruby Bridwell Leonard; three daughters, Mrs. Jimmy Chapman of Belton, and Misses Myra and thia Leonard of the home; two sons, Carmon Leonard the home and Glenn Leonard of tanburg Junior College; four brothers, Oliver, Ernest and Leonard of Greer, and Forrest Leonard of Woodruff; and five sisters, Mrs. James Waddell, Mrs. Henry Waddell, Mrs. Jessie Grubbs, Mrs.
