Lesslie Bragg Lesslie Rae Bragg, 14-month-old daughter of Robert Seaborne and Helen Overton Bragg of 17-B-Bryon Court, Florida Avenue, died at a Greenville hospital at 6 a.m.

Wednesday after a brief illness. The father is employed by LTV in Greenville and the parents are members of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Fountain Inn. Surviving are a brother, Robert S. Bragg the grandparents, Mrs. Odell Bragg Inn and Mrs.

Ida Leopard of Laurens. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Fountain Inn by the Rev. Charles Owens. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.

M. Barbare. Paul Michael Barbare, 62, formerly of Greenville, died Tuesday at 11 p.m. in a St. Louis, Mo.

hospital after several weeks of illness. He was born in Greenville, a son of the late Alex and Rose Flynn Barbare. He lived in Detroit, Mich, before moving to Doyle and John Holder of Greenville and Joel C. Holder of Winter Haven, five daughters, Mrs. Cressie Parker of Greenville, Mrs.

Ann Anderson and Mrs. Edna Doughman of Phoenix, and Mrs. Sue Davis and Mrs. Grace Medlin of Pickens; three brothers, John Holder of Pumpkintown, Fair Holder of Easley and Fess Holder of Dacusville; three sisters, Mrs. Bertie Meldin, Mrs.

Lula Dunkin and Mrs. Fannie Landers of Dacusville; 30 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Oolenoy Baptist Church at a time to be announced. Hartzog GREENWOOD William A. Hartzog, 51, of Washington, D. and formerly of Coronaca, died Tuesday at 4:15 a.m. in Washington. He was born in Ola, son of Mrs.

Florrie Morris Hartzog of Coronaca and the late W. A. Hartzog and was a World War II veteran and a member of Coronaca Baptist Church. He was an employe of Stables Restaurant in Washington. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs.

Janie R. Hartzog; two sisters, Mrs. Abbie Sanders of Melborn, and Mrs. Anne Hickey of Greenbelt, and two brothers, Harold B. and Bernard Hartzog of Orlando, Fla.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Blyth Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Moyers and the Rev. Horace Benjamin. Burial will be In Bethlehem Cemetery in Coronaca.

of 106 Watts died in a Greenville hospital at 3 a.m. Wed nesday after a brief illness. A native of Pickens County, he was a son of the late Tyler and Amelia H. Holder. He was a retired caroenter and farmer and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

During World War II, he served five years with the second Division of the U. S. Marines. Surviving are his wife. Mrs.

E. E. Strong DUE WEST Mrs. Julia Stewart Strong, 94, of Abbeville Highway, widow of Edgar Ellis Strong, died at a local hospital Wednesday after a long illness. She was a native of Iva, daughter of the late Turner and Mary McCurry Stewart.

She was a member of Due West ARP Church. Surviving are a son, James S. Strong of Due West; a daughter, Miss Sarah Jean Strong of Atlanta, a brother, John Stewart, of Doraville, a sister, Mrs, John Creel of Doraville; and three grandchildren. J. Johnson CLINTON Gustavaf J. John son, 94, of 501 Hickory died Wednesday night in a Laurens nursing home after several years of declining health. A native of Vermont, he lived in Connecticut until 1966 when he moved to Clinton. He was a retired watchmaker and a mem' ber of the Congregational Church in Connecticut.

Surviving are a son, Ernest G. Johnson of Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. William H. (Ruth) Bacon Jr. of Newark, a sister, Miss Ruth Johanson of Sweden; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gray Funeral Home. His body will be shipped to Rutland, Vt, for services and burial. Luther S. Craig Luther S. Craig, 63, of 17 Marble St.

died yesterday at 12:30 a.m. in a local hospital. He had been ill for three weeks. He was born in Aiken, a son of the late Luther and Lola Blease Craig and lived the greater part of his life in Greenville. Before his retirement five years ago he was employed by White Horse Mills for 12 years.

He was a member of Tremont Avenue Church of God and the Woodmen of the World, Camp 3, for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Addie Abercrombie Craig; two sons, James M. and Wallace M. Craig of Greenville; a daughter, Mrs.

Margaret C. Boone of the home; a sister, Mrs. Carrie C. Sullivan of Asheville, N. a half-sister, Mrs.

Addie Greene of Green ville; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be con ducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Jones Mortuary by the Rev. Louie Cross. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Viola Brissey Matteson, of 1522 Bramlett Road, widow of Earle F. Matteson. died yesterday at 5:35 a.m. in a local hospital after ten days illness. She was born in Greenville, a daughter of the late Newton and Florence Smith Brissey.

She lived the greater part of her life in Greenville except for seven years me spent in Atlanta. She was a former member of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of City View Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Martha Goggins of Atlan ta; three sons, Frank Fred V.

and Elmer F. Matteson of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Berry and Mrs.

Pauline Shrout of Greenville; two brothers, John Brt-sey Asheville, N. and G. P. Brissey of Greenville; nine grandchildren; and 21 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be con ducted today at 11 a.m.
