Dwight Edens and the Rev. Melvin Morris. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Lindsey, Bill Bradley, Allen Batson, Russell Ellenburg and Bobby F. Lord.

The body is at 0' Dell Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. John F.

Hopkins John F. Hopkins of Ware Place died Thursday. He was son of the late William E. and Hettie Ridgeway Hopkins. andie.

was a retired farmer member of Fork Shoals Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Alverson of Greenville and Mrs. Joe (Billie) Thompson of Pelzer; a son, Charles Hopkins of Greenville; a sister, Mrs. D.

F. Pettit LIBERTY Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Baldwin Pettit, who died Wednesday, wife of J. F. Pettit of Rt.

2, Liberty, Flat Rock community, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at Flat Rock Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Magee and the Rev. Robert Wheeler. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Olin and W. C. Baldwin Edward Able, Frank Rice, Marion Holcombe, and Alvin Smith. A native of Oconee County, daughter of the late Robert F. and Amanda Dunn Baldwin, she lived in Anderson for 50 years.

She was a member of the Eastern Star. the Flat Rock Golden Age Club and the Flat Rock Baptist Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. J. F.

(Myra) Winchester of Greenville and Mrs. Harold (Jonnie) Neimeyer of Glen Burnie, four STEVENSON A. Pettit of Liberty, Quenton Pettit of Asheville, N.C., and Paul L. and W. Coke Pettit of Liberty; a brother, W.

C. Baldwin Sr. of Liberty; 24 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. The body is at Robinson Funeral Home, Easley, and will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Friday.

Richard L. Long LAURENS Richard Lloyd Long, 62, of Rt. 3, Laurens, died Thursday. He was a native of Marlboro County, son of the late Victor and Mamie King Long. He was a textile worker for many years and was a merchant.

He was a member of Bethlehem Union Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Boone Long; a son, Richard Long of Woodruff; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Styles of Laurens; two brothers, Johnny W. Long of Marion, N.C., and Robert Long of Hollywood, a sister, Mrs.

Annie Mae Winburn of Greenville; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Union Church by the Jones Davenport and the Rev. Jack Reid. Burial will be in cemetery.

He was a native of Carnesville, son of the late Robert Leland and Elizabeth Ayers Little. He was owner and operator Electric City Printing Co. and was an Elder at Central Presbyterian Church. He was a board member of First Federal Savings and Loan Association for several years and had served on the board of directors of the Printing Industries of the Carolina. He was a past president of Anderson Lion's Club and was a Mason, Elk and a Knight of Phythias.

Rupert E. Rhodes WALTERBOR0-Rupert Eugene Rhodes, 51, died Wednesday. He was born in Colleton County, son of Mrs. Ruth Hardwick Rhodes of Loris and the late John Tillman Rhodes. He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and was a World War II veteran.

He was executive secretary of the Colleton County Farm Bureau, office manager of Farm Bureau Insurance in Colleton County, supervisor of the Colleton County Soil Conservation Board and a former member of the Southeastern Regional FCX board. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Louise Boggs Rhodes; two sons, Capt. Denny S. Rhodes in Vietnam and Rupert E.

Rhodes a student at Baptist College, Charleston; three brothers, O.H. Rhodes, of Walterboro and Dr. L.D. and J.T. Rhodes of Estill; a sister, Mrs.

F.B. Wittington of Loris; and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Fred Parker Funeral Home. James M. Timmons PIEDMONT- James Mark Timmons, 77, of Greenville St.

died Thursday. He was born in Greenville County, son of the late John W.and Lyda Potts Timmons. He spent most of his Greenville County. He was a retired employe of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont.

He was a former deacon and later an honorary deacon. He was a member of Grove Station Masonic Lodge 166 and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Elrod Timmons; a son, James Kenneth Timmons of Richmond, two sisters, Mrs. F.

D. Suber of Piedmont and Mrs. G. F. Bauch of Greenville; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Piedmont by Dr. Thomas A. DeVenny and the Rev. C.
