Saturday in Ho'y Trinity Lutheran Church. The 4 p.m. ceremony was followed by a reception in the church social hall. The bride, daughter of Mrs. Max Calvin Beasley, 811 Wilson is a graduate of Anderson Junior College.

She is a candidate for a B. A. degree in May from Clemson University. She is also the daughter of the late Mr. Beasley.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Norman Williams of Granite Falls, N. C. He is a graduate of Anderson Junior College and Clemson University.

He is a manager trainee at Burlington Industries in Favetteville, N. C. Maid of honor was Miss Marilyn Garner. Bridesmaids were Miss Cynthia Beasley, sister of the bride; Miss Dianne Payne, Miss Judy Jameson of Easlev, MLss Lynn Williams of Granite Falls, N. and Miss Elizabeth Coleman of Florence.

Mr. Williams was his son's best man. Ushers were Horace Kinsey of Walterboro, James Tucker of Easley, Bruce Price Dick Fowler and Thomas Smith. The Rev. Paul Slice officiated.

Billy Earl Walker of WTare Shoals and Miss Betty Sue Gregg of Aiken. Miss Jill Nunnery of Raleigh, N. was flower girl. The groom's father was best man. Ushers were Eddie Feldman, Marvin Tumblin and Wrade Moody of New Ellenton Forrest Ford and Chris Hall of Aiken; Robin Burroughs, brother of the bride; and Stanley Porter.

Barker Plake of Ware Shoals, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer. Miss Nancy Bratcher of Ware Shoals, organist, and Mrs. Frank Hall of Ware Shoals, vocalist, presented music. Berea Girl Presented Scholarship Miss Brenda Berryhill, a senior at Berea High School, has been awarded a $150 scholarship to Greenville Technical Education Center by the Greenville Chapter of the National Secretaries Association. The chapter presents a scholarship each year to a high school senior girl interested in the secretarial profession as a career. Miss Berryhill is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. J. C. Berryhill of 5 Hodgens Drive, Berea. She was chosen from students competing from Greenville Senior, Parker, Carolina, Wade Hampton and Berea High schools.

A committee headed by Mrs. Evelyn Gaines, chapter president, made the selection. Officers Elected By Newcomers ANDERSON New officers of the Anderson Newcomers Club to be installed May 14 are Mrs. A. G.

Sutherland, president; Mrs. John Warner, first vice president; Mrs. W. I. Steele, second vice president; Mrs.

Dan Yon, secretary, and Mrs. D. A. Fegenbush, treasuerer. The Newcomers Club visited the Greenville Art Museum Thursday as part of the continuing program of visiting places of interest throughout the area.

MRS. PORTER ROGERS-MARTIN LYMAN Miss Rebecca Marie Rogers became the bride of Charles Edwards Martin Saturday in the First Baptist Church. The 7 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Roger Von King.

A. Wallace in Spartanburg. The groom is the son of Rufus Victor Martin of 566 Hugh Spartanburg, and the late Mrs. Martin. He is a graduate of Spartanburg Junior College and the Baptist College of Charleston.

and Mrs. James Leroy Steele of 402 Elizabeth Greenville, S.C., is a graduate of the Medical College of South Carolina School of Nursing. She is a staff nurse at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Cook, son of Dr.

and Mrs. Cook Jr. of 4518 Bardstown Louisville, is a graduate of the University of Louisville and the University of Louisville Medical School. He is a resident in gynecology and obstetrics at Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University Hospital. Mrs.
