Porter BEASLEY-WILLIAMS ANDERSON Miss Maxine Elizabeth Beasley became bride of James Norman Williams Jr. Saturday in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The 4 p.m. ceremony was followed by a reception in the church social hall.

The bride, daughter of Mrs. Max Calvin Beasley, 811 Wilson is a graduate of Anderson Junior College. She is a candidate for a B. A. degree in May from Clemson University.

She is also the daughter of the late Mr. Beasley. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Norman Williams of Granite Falls, N.

C. He is a graduate of Anderson Junior College and Clemson University. He is a manager trainee at Burlington Industries in Fayetteville, N. C. Maid of honor was Miss Marilyn Garner.

Bridesmaids were Miss Cynthia Beasley, sister of the bride; Miss Dianne Payne, Miss Judy Jameson of Easley, Miss Lynn Williams of Granite Falls, N. and Miss Elizabeth Coleman of Florence. Mr. Williams was his son's best man. Ushers were Horace Kinsey of Walterboro, James Tucker of Easley, Bruce Price Dick Fowler and Thomas Smith.

The Rev. Paul Slice officiated. Organist was Mrs. Frederick Terry. After a honeymoon to Atlanta, and the Smoky Mountains the couple will live in Anderson.
