Man. NITES SUNDAY CALL 244-1213 MAN" BY The NEW YORK (AP) Women's tennis continued its financial boom Monday with the announcement of a $100,000 tournament bearing a first prize of $32,000, but Billie Jean King insisted it's not going to spoil the court ladies. It, will be the second $100,000 event for the women, joining the Family Circle Cup which holds its second annual tourney at Sea Pines, S.C., starting April 30. "Aren't you afraid so much money is likely to corrupt the sport?" a woman reporter asked the Wimbledon champion at a news conference. "No, it will make it more honest," replied Billie Jean tartly.

"It's beautiful. On the contrary, more money will make the game more honest. "I know. I've been on the other side. Tennis was never more corrupt than when it had the so-called amateurs taking their payoffs under the table." DALLAS (AP) Running back Calvin Hill, who has signed with Hawaii of the World Football League for the 1975 season, said Monday he isn't upset by a temporary restraining order filed by the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

The restraining order signed by District Court Judge Ted Akin early Sunday prohibits the WFL from negotiating with any Cowboy players with unexpired contracts. It specifically named Hill and quarterback Craig Morton, who has signed with the Houston Texans of the WFL.
