Luther Martin ANDERSON Funeral services for Mrs. Evie Allen Martin, 87, of 224 W. Roosevelt Drive, who died Thursday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McDougald's North Chapel, with burial in New Silver Brook Cemetery. Eugene Young Eugene Young of 372 Gower St.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dezzie Mae Pierce of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Abernathy of Lyman and Mrs.

Metropol Sr. DARLINGTON George P. Metropol 82, of Darlington, died Thursday. Born in Scoota, Greece, son of the late Pannayotis and Georgia Baccus Metropol, he came the U.S. in 1900 and moved to Darlington in 1910.

He was a merchant and realtor and was member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bannie Metropol; three sons, William W. Metropol of Columbia, George P. Metropol Jr.
