Wednesday, January 1 6, 1 985 5 Deatha McDougald's North Chapel, Anderson, with burial in New Silver Brook Cemetery. Nevln Wagner GREER Nevin Link Wagner, 64, formerly of Dunwoody, died Monday. He was a retired public relations consultant for Nev Wagner Associates. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are three daughters, Susan W. Winburn of Greer, Janet Leigh Wagner of Falls Church, and Mary Cathleen Wagner of Atlanta, and a sister, Dorothy Hunter of Reading, Pa. Graveside services: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mountain View Cemetery. The family is at the home of Susan Winburn, 205 Drace Greer.

Wood Mortuary, Greer. day at the funeral home and at the home of Ruth Crayne, Route 5, Baber Street, Union. Mrs. 'Billy' Simpson ANDERSON Wilma "Billy" Baxter Simpson, 57, of 529 Fairmont Road, died Monday. She was a homemaker and was a member of Fellowship of Believers.

Surviving are her husband, George Simpson of the home; her mother, Annie Louise Ivester Baxter Gastley of Seneca; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Charise) Jones of Honea Path; five brothers, Jimmy Baxter of Columbus, Larry Baxter, Ira "Bobby" Baxter and Grady Baxter, all of Anderson, and the Rev. Olin Baxter of Erwin, a sister, Mrs. Willard (Frances) Smith of Anderson; a half sister, Alma Smith of Anderson. Services: 3 p.m.

Wednesday at McDougald's Funeral Home, Anderson. Lester L. Shetley UNION Lester Linville Shetley, 75, of Route 3, Mill Street, died Tuesday. He was a retired textile employee and was a member of McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are four daughters, Jettie Johnson, Ruth Crayne and Linda Williams, all of Union, and Stella Mixson of Atlanta, two sons, Stuart "Buddy" Shetley and Robert Shetley, both of Union; and three sisters, Nell Bible and Ezie Henderson, both of Del Rio, and Christine Jones of Manassas, Va.

Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, Union, with burial in Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednes Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. The family is at the home of Charles "Rick" Morton, 110 Scott Greenville. Guy Murdock BELTON William Guy Murdock, 84, of Route 1, Mt. Bethel community, died Monday.

He was a farmer and was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are two brothers, Boyce Murdock of Belton and Henry Murdock of Trion, and five sisters, Mrs. C.B. (Gertrude) Bowen of Belton, Mrs.

W.C. (Bertie) Fields and Mrs. Ed (Hazel) Hanks, both of Anderson, Mrs. W.C. (Emma) Wiles and Mrs.

R.B. (Ruth) Ashley, both of Honea Path. Services: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

E.P. Gambrell ANDERSON E.P. Gambrell, 83, of Route 3, Zion community, died Tuesday. He was a farmer and a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and usher.

Surviving are his wife, Maudie L. Patton Gambrell of the home; a son, James R. Gambrell of Anderson; four daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Louise) Lee, Mrs. Robert (Annie) Smith, and Mrs.

Freeman (Barbara) Kinley, all of Anderson, and Mrs. Frank (Doris) McCall of Atlanta, and two sisters, Eula Wright and Gladys Cheek, both of Anderson. Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Hawkins Hanks, 86, of 25 Geer died Tuesday. She was a retired textile employee and was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, J.T. Hanks, Sam Hanks and Charles Hanks, all of Belton; two daughters, Martha Hanks and Jeanette Smith, both of Belton; two brothers, Prue Hawkins and Jeff Hawkins, both of Belton; and four sisters, Winnie Meeks and Annie Campbell, both of Anderson, Myrtle Hannah of Belton and Net Morgan of Pelzer. Services: 3 p.m.

Thursday at Long Branch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Cox Funeral Home, Belton. John A. Hatchell FLORENCE John Aubrey Hatchell, 75, of 2325 3rd Loop Road, died Dec.

23. He was a retired employee of Driwood Molding Co. and a master woodcraftsman. Surviving are his wife, Racheal Leach Hatchell; two daughters, Mrs. John W.

(Carolyn) Edge of Columbia and Janice H. Corbett of Florence; a brother, Neal A. Hatchell of Swansboro, N.C.; and a sister, Eva H. Wharton of Greenville. Services were held at Cain Funeral Chapel.

Burial was in Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. Marlon Lee Morton Marion Lee Morton, of 202 Scott died Saturday. She was a homemaker. Armstrong and Catherine Vaughn, both of Fountain Inn. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn. Bill Grant WALHALLA William "Bill" James Grant 82, of Route 1, Bear Swamp community, died Monday. He was a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service, a charter member and trustee of the Open Door Baptist Church, and was affiliated with the Super Service Station. Surviving are his wife, Etolis Abercrombie Grant of the home; three sons, Chris Grant, William James Grant and Medford Grant, all of Walhalla; two brothers, Oscar Grant and Fred Grant, both of Salem; and three sisters, Bessie Theikuhl, Alberta "Bert" Black, and Zettie Alexander, all of Walhalla. Services: 2 p.m.

Wednesday at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, Westminster, with burial in Whitmire Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Open Door Baptist Church Building Fund.
