"Jeff Baker ASHEVILLE, N.C. Bianchard T. "Jeff" Baker, 82, of 328 Emma Road died March 24, 1987, in an Asheville hospital. He was retired from the Southern Railway Co. He was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.

Dill lone Rowell Dill, 93, of 100 Ellen-dale died March 21, 1987, after several years of declining health. She graduated from Chicora College in Greenville in 1913 and attended summer schools at Harvard and the University of Virginia. She taught in high schools at Mullins, Chesterfield, Cowpens and Piedmont. She was a former employee of Shade Optical Co. in Greenville.

She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Sans Souci for 60 years and a teacher of the Junior Girls Class for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Rowell Dill McNeely of the home and Clara Roselle Dill of Yongsan Army Post, Seoul, Korea. Services were held Tuesday at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Whit Galbreath WALHALLA James Whitfield Galbreath, 86, of 512 Sunset Drive, died March 25, 1987, at Oconee Memorial Hospital of natural causes. He was a retired paint contractor and was a member of the Walhalla Wesleyan Church. Surviving are two sons, Marvin Galbreath of Mountain Rest and Bill Galbreath of Walhalla; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Manley of Walhalla; and a brother, Pat Galbreath of Walhalla. Gaines St. died March 25, 1987, at Easley Baptist Hospital. He was retired from J.P. Stevens Co. Inc.

He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Navy. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and a Sunday School teacher. He was former mayor of Central. He was owner of Kelley's Feed Store.

Surviving are his wife, Florine Sims Kelley; a son, Wayne C. Kelley Jr. of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. Simon Sue Eades of Sunset; and three sisters, Ruth Argo of Central, Beth Young of Rockingham, N.C, and Sara Williams of Meridian, and two grandsons. Services: 11 a.m.

William Knapp FOUNTAIN INN William Richard Knapp, 51, of 1655 Scuffle-town Road, died Wednesday, March 25, 1987 at a Greenville hospital following an extended period of declining health. Surviving are his wife, Florence Sterrett Knapp; a daughter, Donna M. Knapp of Tampa, and a son, William R. Knapp Jr. of State College, Pa.

Private memorial services will be held. Local arrangements by the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. James E. Lollis SIMPSONVILLE James Earl Lollis, 46, of 216 Beattie died Tuesday.

He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Fountain Inn, and was maintenance supervisor of Best Western Motel. Surviving are his mother, Mary Smith Lollis of Mauldin; his wife, Dorothy Ervin Lollis of the home; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Larry (Sheryl) Gilliland of Gray Court; three brothers, Frederick Lollis of Las Vegas, Roy Lollis of Pel-ham and Douglas Lollis of Greenville; and a sister, Betty Single-tary of Fountain Inn. CLEMSON Dr. Boone M. Bowen 87, of Apartment 112, Clemson Downs, died March 25, 1987, at Anderson Memorial Hospital. He was a retired professor of Old Testament literature at Candler School of Theology, Emory University in Atlanta. He was a veteran of World War and was an ordained minister with the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.

He was member of the Society of the Biblical Literature and Exegesis. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston and received his master's degree from Emory University and his doctorate from Yale University. He also did graduate work at Marburg University in Germany. Since his retirement, he served as associate pastor at Cherokee Place United Methodist Church in North Charleston. Services: 2 p.m.

Friday at Clemson United Methodist Church with burial in Westview Cemetery in Walhalla.
