Surviving are one son: Johnnie B. Holder of Pickens; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Edna) Hargate of Dacusville and Mrs. Evelyn Spearman of Six Mile; one sister, Essie Kelley of Walhalla; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren. Mr. Barbour was retired owner and operator of Town and Country Laundry and Cleaners. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Berea, the Bill Julian Sunday School Class and the Berea Friendship Group. He was a charter member of the Berea Lions Club and Palmetto Cove, Palmetto State Unit of WBCCII. He formerly served as president of the S.

C. Unit. His wife, Grace Drummond bour, died April 12, 1983. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Graceanne Barbour of Vienna, VA, Nancy B. and Dr.

and Culpurnia Poole Madden. Mrs. Hawkins was a retired Market Research Consultant and had attended Greenville Women's College. She was a member of Sans Souci Baptist Church, the Dorcas Sunday School Class, the Morning Prayer Mission Group and had served as chairman of the Flower Committee. She was a member of the Auxiliary of Railroad Trainmen.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Joyce Cook Hawkins of Greenville; one brother, John E. Madden, Sr. of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Todd Hawkins and Sloan Hawkins. She was predeceased by her husband who died March 16, 1983. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Sans Souci Baptist Church.

He was a civil engineer with South East Schokbeton of Lavonia, GA, before his retirement as vice-president in April, 1991. He was a member of Precast Concrete Institute, Western Carolina Sailing Club, and North Greenville Rotary Club. Mr. Luypen served with the Dutch army and attended the Catholic church. Surviving are his wife Mrs.

Ber-narda van Gelderen Luypen; a daughter, Mrs. Roger L. (Johanna) Bouchillon of Piedmont; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter J. and Lynn F. Luypen of Easley, and another son, Hans A.

Luypen, of Piedmont; a sister, Mrs. Dori L. deGraff of Holland; and three grandsons, Evan P. Luypen, Aaron L. Bouchillon and Blain H.

She was an ordained Church of God minister, a member of Greenville-Paris Church of God, and was a counselor for WGGS, Channel 16. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Vaughn and Melrose Spearman, both of Greenville, and Shera Deadwyler of Anderson; a brother, Hubert Turner of Boca Raton, Florida; two sisters, Virginia Banks and Mary Masters, both of Easley; and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 28, 1991 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home in Easley, conducted by the Reverend Jerry Barrineau, Jr. and the Reverend Shirley Barrett.
