Cecil H. McCoig CLINTON Cecil H. McCoig, 62, of Route 2, Indian Creek Road, died Dec. 5, 1990, at the University Hospital in Augusta, Ga. He was self employed and a deacon of Lydia Baptist Church, where he was also on the building committee.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Martha C. McCoig of the home; a son, Roger A. McCoig of Clarks Hill; a daughter, Mrs.

Albert Anthony (Teresa Wegman of Charlotte, N.C; two brothers, Ralph McCoig of Little Mountain and Thomas Claude McCoig of Laurens; and three sisters, Maybelle Abercrom-bie of Beaumont, Texas, and Mattie Sue Barnes and Blanche Jeanette McCoig, both of Clinton. Roger A. McCoy GREER Roger Anthony McCoy, 35, of 228 Batesville Road, died Dec. 4, 1990. He was part owner of McCoy's Auto Service and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. He had served in the U.S.

Army. Surviving are his parents, Ansel L. and Clara Hindman McCoy of Greer; a brother, Christopher Glenn McCoy of Greer; and three sisters, Jill McCoy of Charleston, Mrs. Fred (Gail) King of Greensboro, N.C, and Mrs. Allen (Connie) Turner of Piedmont.

Gladys A. McFall GASTONIA, N.C. Gladys Armstrong McFall, 86, died Dec. 5, 1990, at Brian Center in Gastonia. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gastonia.

She was an accountant and a member of Belton Second Baptist Church where she was teacher and secretary of the primary department for 35 years and a choir member for 40 years. Surviving are her husband, Eugene Murray Major of the home; a son, Rutledge Major of McCor-mick; and a daughter, Wylene Gail Johnson of Hartwell, Ga.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville. Surviving are her husband, Mel-yrn O. Bellwood; two daughters, Mrs. T.C. (Linda) Roberts Jr.

He was a member of the Norris City Council and retired assistant fire chief for the Liberty Fire Department. He was a former employee of McDaniel Implement and a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church in Central. Surviving are his wife, Aileen Porter Cook of the home; two daughters, Margaret Alice Hojdgens of Fountain Inn and Martha Faye Stancil of Liberty; two sots, William Franklin Cook of NoJ-ris and James Newton Cook of Saraland, and a sister, Jenny Smith of Central.

6, 1990, at St. Francis Hospital following several years of de clining health. He was a buyer and divisional manager of Belks Inc. in Green ville and Columbia before retiring. He was a member of Greenville Christian Fellowship.

6, 1990, at Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired driver for City Cab Co. Surviving are his wife, Maxine Howard Edwards of the home; a daughter, Kay Skinner of York; two sons, Ray B. Edwards of Taylors and Ricky Edwards of Greer; two brothers, Earl Edwards of Greer and the Rev. Coley Edwards of Ruby; and three sisters, Clara Malone and Ruth Wood, both of Greer, and Nora Booker of Well-ford.

Services: 4 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. The family is at the home of Ray Edwards, 331 Wood Road, Taylors.

Miriam G. Gilmore MAULDIN Miriam Gibson Gilmore, 71, of Miller Oaks Apartments, died Dec. 6, 1990, following a period of declining health. She was a retired reporter for Fairchild Publishing Co. in Washington, D.C and New York.

She was a member of Augusta Road Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Anne G. Taylor and Earlene G. Jones, A.
