William L. Holland WILLIAMSTON William Luther Holland, 74, of 211 Hill died July 27, 1992, at his home. He was a truck driver for the city of Williamston before he retired, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a prisoner of war. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williamston.

Surviving are his wife, Maude Ladd Holland of the home; a daughter, Sandra H. Poore of Anderson; and a brother, Edward Holland of Gainesville, Fla. Rosa Mae Bowl BELTON Rosa Mae Austin Bowie, 93, formerly of Belton and Greenville, died July 26, 1992, at Greenwood Health Care Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Belton First Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Frank 0. Bowie of Greenwood; a daughter, Kathryn Johnson of Blythwood; and a sister, Mrs. George (Marie) Counts of Greenville.

Mrs. Wayne Stevens BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Carol Lois Nelson Stevens, 49, of 510 Brock-ford Road, Helfin, died July 24, 1992, in Birmingham after a sudden illness. She was a teacher at Claburne County Elementary School. She was a graduate of Furman University and was completing work on her doctorate.

She was a member of Helfin Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Wayne Stevens, pastor of Helfin Baptist Church and formerly of Union; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Dotson Nelson Jr.

of Birmingham; a daughter, Beth Stevens of Monte-vallo, three sons, Art Stevens of Brook Haven, Charlie Stevens and Walter Stevens, both of the home; a sister, Mary Grace Nelson of Birmingham; and two brothers, the Rev. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a retired employee of Richtex Brick a member and past master of Poma-ria Lodge No. 151, A.F.M., and a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mitzie S.

Lettie Mae Taylor ROEBUCK Lettie Mae Taylor, 67, of 611 Carolina Drive, died July 27, 1992, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was a seamstress and a member of Stone Station Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, David "Buck" Taylor of the home; two sons, Doug Taylor of Spartanburg and Roy Taylor of Roebuck; a daughter, Luvenia "Toots" Owens of Spartanburg; a brother, Curtis Crowe of Roebuck; and her stepfather, John Kelly Crowe of Roebuck. Templeton, 72, of Bor-dentown, N.J., formerly of Greenville, died July 25, 1992, at Mercer Medical Center in Trenton, N.J. He was a retired airline pilot for Overseas National Airway. He also retired from the U.S. Air Force where he was a bomber pilot and served during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bor-dentown.

Surviving are his wife, Blanche Lawler Templeton; his mother, Louisa E. Templeton of Borden-town Township, N.J.; a son, Robert T. Templeton of Mount Holly, N.J.; and a daughter, Carolyn H. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Spartanburg and, a former employee of Raycord and Basil's West. He was an honorary member of the South Carolina Sheriffs Association. Surviving are his wife, Styliani "Stella" Economou Volianitis of the home; his mother, Angeliki Ko-konis Volianitis of the home; two sons, John Polyzois Volianitis Jr. and Thomas "Tommy" Volianitis, both of the home; and a brother, Dr. George John Volan of Dyer, Ind.

Wansley Hattie Young Wansley, 79, of Detroit formerly of Greenville, died July 21, 1992, in Detroit. She was a former member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Greenville and a member of Warren United Mission Baptist Church in Detroit. Surviving are a brother, B.L. Morris Webber, 72, of 5119 Neptune Way, died July 17, 1992, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a chief master sergeant. He was a veteran of World War ,11 and a veteran of the war in Vietnam.

He was a member of Palma Cela Presbyterian Church. He was a woodturner and active in woodworking circles. He was a member of the Woodcrafters Club of Tampa, International Wood Collectors Society, ttie American Association of Woodturners and Florida West Coast Woodturners. Surviving are two daughters, Lindsay Eagle of Tampa and Les-lie Donovan of Odessa, a brother, Lewis Webber of Gilbert; and two sisters, Myitis Webber and Christine W. Childress, both of Union.

Hunnicutt SENECA William Burns Hunnicutt, 82, of 111 Salem Road, died July 27, 1992, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Columbia. He retired from Abney Mills in Newry and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are two brothers, George Hunnicutt of Seneca and T.S.

Hunnicutt of Walhalla; and three sisters, Mrs. J.L. (Mae) Gail-lard of Newry, and Margaret Man-ley and Gladys Hunnicutt, both of Seneca. Graveside services: 3 p.m. Tuesday in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Aleric Simpson CLEMSON Aleric Mortice Simpson, 24, of 112 Goldman died July 26, 1992, at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca. He was a former employee of West Point Pepperell in Clemson. Surviving are his parents, Harrison Simpson of the Bronx, N.Y., and Carrie Stephens Crooks of the home; his stepfather, Ike Crooks of the home; a daughter, Diyanne Reese of Clemson; two sisters, Cyd Stephens of Central and Andrea Gibson of Hinesville, three brothers. James L. Gandy HARTSVILLE James L. Gandy, 33, died July 25, 1992, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and an employee of Carolina Power Light H.B. Robinson plant.

Surviving are his wife, Jan Galloway Gandy of Hartsville; his mother, Loree Harrington of Hartsville; two brothers, Phillip H. Gandy and Douglas Gandy, both of Hartsville; and a sister, J. Gail Gandy of Travelers Rest. Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church.

He was a retired painter and a Baptist. Surviving are a daughter, Paula Tilley of Greenville; a son, Jerry Dean Babb of Greer; two sisters, Lucy Solesbee and Lucille Clayton, both of Holly Springs; and a brother, Paul Babb of Greer.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sea wright Funeral Chapel, Inman, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. 'Mickey' Brown Michael Buckner "Mickey" Brown, 48, of 245 Piney Mountain Road, died July 26, 1992, after a brief illness.

He was owner of Aquarian Swimming Pool Co. for 20 years and was a member of the Executive Council of Spartan Pools Corp. and the National Institute of Swimming Pools. He was awarded many Pool Builder of the Year awards. He was a member of Overbrook Baptist Church and served in the U.S.

Marine Corps during the war in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife, Lynn Adams Brown of the home; his mother, Dorothy Lee Buckner Brown of Greenville; two sons, Michael Buckner Brown II of Greenville and James Kevin Brown of the home; a sister, Gail B. Black of Easley; and three brothers, Joe Brown, Richard Brown and Stanley Brown, all of Greenville. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Mackey Mortuary with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Daniel Meetze of Gaffney; and a brother, Z.L. Thomas of Spartanburg. Services: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church with burial in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home, Gaffney. The family is at the residence. James F. Galloway PICKENS James Flemon Galloway, 89, of 140 Ligon died July 26, 1992, at his home.

He retired from Alice Manufacturing Ellison plant, and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are seven sons, L.D. Galloway and John Edward Galloway, both of Easley, Bill Galloway of Six Mile, Ted Marvin Galloway dS Liberty, and Harold Galloway,.
