28, 1992, at Anderson Memorial Hospital. He was assistant manager of the security department of Anderson Memorial Hospital and was a sheriffs deputy in Anderson County for 12 years. He was a member of Orrville Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, leader of the training union and leader of the RAs. He was a licensed minister and attended Living Waters Bible College. Surviving are his wife, Tommie Jean Wright Arnold of the home; two sons, Daniel Arnold and Stephen Arnold, both of the home; a sister, Betty Ann Keown of Starr; and a brother, Jack Arnold of Starr.

Wenard Bowser ANDERSON Wenard Bowser, 74, of 105-B Vicki Court, died Nov. 23,1992. He was management consultant in engineering working with several companies. He was recognized for his design concepts with Craftsman tools and was selected for South Carolina's Who's Who for his design work. Surviving are a son, Eric Bowser of Eugene, three daughters, Karen Bortel of Piedmont, Anne Bowser of Lancaster, and Elizabeth Putman of Anchorage, Alaska; and a sister, Arlene Cunningham of Huntington, Pa.

Monday at the funeral home. The family is at the home of James Lee, 220 Lee Lane, Salem. COLUMBIA Dr. Walter Wy-man Theus, dentist and business leader, died Nov. 28, 1992.

He was 75. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He served an internship in oral surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and opened a practice in Columbia in 1952. He was the founder, first president, then chairman of the board of Thermal Engineering Corp. in Columbia.

He also was a founder, first president, then chairman of the board of Metal Fabricators Inc. in Greenville until his retirement in 1979. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served as a bombardier on a B-17. His plane was shot down over the Ploesti Oil Fields in Romania, and he was held a prisoner of war in Bucharest.

He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters and Prisoner of War Medal. He was a member of the American and the South Carolina Dental Max Craft of Laurens; three sisters, Grace Adams of Belton and Avis Lowe and Sudie Ashley, both of Honea Path. Services: 2:20 p.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethany Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m.

of Edgefield; three sisters, O'Neil Smith of Edgefield and Alma Roe and Marilyn Sanchez, both of Johnston; and a brother, Hermie W. Ouzts of Edgefield.
