She was born in Racine, Wisconsin, on Aug. 2, 1951. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Greenville, and Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.

Mrs. Archer was an elementary school teacher for 22 years. She spent 10 years in the First Baptist kindergarten program in Greenville, S.C., and 9 years in the Greenville County school system. She was chosen Outstanding Teacher at Stone Academy for 2005-2006. She is survived by George Ferguson Archer, her husband of 32 years; two daughters, Susan Archer Massingill and her husband Brian of Greer, S.C., and Katherine McTyeire Archer of Nashville, a grandson, George Archer Massingill; her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Warren Fred Fisher of Greer; two brothers, Larry Fisher and his wife Jane of Greer and Tommy Fisher and his wife Lynn of Orlando, and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Allen Fisher. Funeral services will be held in Greenville, S.C., at Markley Chapel of Christ Church Episcopal at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006.

On Monday, December 11, 2006, there will be a funeral service at 1 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Greenville, with burial to follow in Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Miss. The family will receive friends at home on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, between 6 and 8 p.m.

Christine 'Trixie' Bell Easley Christine "Trixie" Bell, 96, of 212 Inverness Way, wife of the late James Walker Bell, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late Ben Perry Smith and Eunice Duckworth Smith of Six Mile, and was a lifelong member of Six Mile Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Marshall Bell, and wife, Ruby, of Easley; two daughters, Duane Hellman and husband, George, of Atlanta, and Alicia Gibson and husband, Ralph, of Easley; three grandchildren, Marion Bell, Ricky Bell and Darlene Youngblood; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bell was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents and husband of 51 years, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Alice Benelee, and a great-granddaughter, Morgan Bell. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at 11:30 a.m., in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

Betty Jo Hinson Wellford Betty Jo Leake Hinson, 71, of 1540 Inman Road, went to be with the Lord December 6, 2006, at her residence. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Norman B. and Zonnie Easler Leake, she was the tor of Hinson Hinson Lake Cooley Cafe, and a member of Wellford Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Donald Ray Hinson of the home; a son, Donald "Donnie" Ray Hinson Jr. of Wellford; two grandchildren, Tony and Greg Hinson; two sisters, Lucille Moreland of Greenville and Muriel Bingham of Lyman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hinson was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Leake and R.J. Leake. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Wellford Baptist Church, conducted by Rev.

Choice Watson, Rev. Steve Dyar and Gilbert Moreland. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home. Online condolences may be made at www.thewood- Camillus Bothwell 'CB' Jeter Jr. Union Mr. Camillus Bothwell "CB" Jeter age 68, husband of Brenda Brooks Jeter, of 101 Hidden Hill Road, Union, S.C., died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at his home. Mr.

Jeter was born in Whitmire, S.C., April 5, 1938, a son of the late Camillus Bothwell Jeter Sr. and Evelyn Suber Jeter. He was a graduate of Whitmire High School and Newberry College, and was owner of Jeter Agency and Quick Cash of Union. Mr. Jeter was a member of Salem Baptist Church, and a former member of the S.C.

National Guard-Union Unit. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Cam Jeter III and wife Teresa of Santuck and Stephen Jeter of Union; a sister, Betty J. Ramsey of Whitmire; a brother, James T. Jeter III of Spartanburg; and three grandchildren. Mr.

Jeter was predeceased by a daughter, Julie Jeter. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2006, at the Jeter Family Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Jerry Lawson. Memorials may be made to the Jeter Cemetery Fund, Jill Jeter, 115 Park Drive, Union, SC 29379.

Robert Lee Jordan Spartanburg Robert Lee Jordan, 77, chairman of the board of R.L. Jordan Oil Company in Spartanburg, S.C., and Jordan Properties in Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Monday, December 4, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Born December 12, 1928, in Calhoun Falls, S.C., he was the son of the late Wilton Lee and Cora Holden Jordan. After attending high school in Greenville, S.C., and later in Akron, Ohio, Mr. Jordan joined the United States Army at the end of Jordan World War II. Based on his previous work experience, the Army assigned him to run a large hotel in Tokyo, Japan. He was proud to serve his country and achieved the rank of sergeant.

He sent money home to his mother every paycheck, which she saved for him. When he returned in 1950, Mr. Jordan took that money and started what would later become R.L. Jordan Oil Company in Spartanburg. Jordan Oil Company owns and operates the Hot Spot convenience stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

In 1985, he started Jordan Properties, which currently operates the Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the Highlands Suites Hotel and Mountain High Lodge in Highlands, N.C. Mr. Jordan's independent entrepreneurial spirit was aided greatly by his personality. He was the kind of person that never met a stranger, and respected people from all walks of life. He was genuinely interested in listening to people tell their stories, and for him, listening was time well spent.

His innovations with convenience stores and gasoline were rooted in his deep sense of responsibility and community service. Serving the public's needs, whether it meant staying open 24 hours or providing jobs for local people, was always his top priority. He was also an avid reader and loved a good joke. Mr. Jordan resided in Las Vegas, Highlands, N.C., and Myrtle Beach, S.C.

He was an avid poker player and private pilot for more than 35 years. Jordan Oil Company has also been active in Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg for more than five years, and has helped build four houses in the Spartanburg area. He also actively supported many charities, locally and nationally. Mr. Jordan was predeceased by half-brothers, James Hyatt and John Henry Hyatt.

He is survived by his longtime loving friend, Delphia LaFern Yaden. He is also survived by his five children and their spouses, his eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, Cora Wavelyn Jordan and her daughters Lindsey Marie Deweese and her son Cameron Alan Kimsey; Paige Jordan Deweese and Whitney Wavelyn Robinson, all of Spartanburg; Jeanne Lee Jordan Cook, her husband Kenneth C. Cook of Mansfield, and daughter, Jessica Lee Clary of Savannah, Wilton Lee Jordan II, his wife Vivian Whang Jordan, and their children Wilton Lee Jordan III, Clayton Allen Jordan, and Hannah Laura Elizabeth Jordan, all of Spartanburg; Elizabeth Anne Jordan Gladson and Michael Lee Gladson and their daughters Ashley Anne Gladson and Rebekah Lynn Gladson, all of Cooley Springs; and David Allen Jordan and Lynn Carman Jordan and their children Robert Lee Jordan II and Mary Carman Jordan, all of Spartanburg; and their mother, Jean Capps Jordan; as well as hundreds of loyal and faithful employees. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Kennerly Easley Fred Lee Kennerly, 92, of 110 Willow Place, Easley, husband of Marie Kennerly, died Thursday, December 7,2006. Born in Mecklenburg, N.C., he was a son of the late Ira Kirkpatric and Mabel Harris Kennerly.

Mr. Kennerly has been a driver with the Greenville City Coach Lines for thirtynine years before his retirement. He was a Mason and a member of the Hejaz Temple of the Shrine. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Lee P. Kennerly of Due West, S.C., and Ira K.

Kennerly of Lewisville, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006, at 11 a.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with the Rev. Carol Carman Greenville Carol Carman, age 48, of Greenville, S.C., died in her home. Carol, the daughter of King and Shirley Carman of Darlington, S.C., was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and moved with her family to South Carolina in 1971.

Carol graduated with honors from Bennettsville High School, Bennettsville, S.C., in 1976, and Richland Technical College, Columbia, S.C., in 1990. Survivors, in addition to her parents, are sisters, Vicki Carman and Steven Sappe of Baltimore, and Brenda Carman of Hilton Head, S.C.; a brother, Douglas and Cynthia Carman of Houston, Texas; and four nieces, Kimberly, Anna, MacKenzie and Sarah. Mamie Miller Devenny Mount Pleasant Mamie Miller Devenny, 99, died December 6, 2006, in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Most recently, she has been a resident of the Franke Home in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Born in Cleveland County, S.C., on November 7, 1907, she was the seventh of fourteen children born to Etta Champion Miller and William L. Miller. Her husband, Harold Yates Devenny, predeceased her.

Survivors include a sister, Jeanette Horne of Lawndale, N.C.; three daughters, Doris Clanton (Donald of Greenville, S.C., Sarah Livingston (Robert) of Santee, S.C., and Mary Lee (John) of Summerville, S.C., and two sons, James Harry Devenny (Corlys) of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Thomas Alston DeVenny (Katherine) of Piedmont, S.C. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren. Boyce Franklin Glenn Jr. Anderson Boyce Franklin Glenn 85, a lifetime resident of Anderson, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born November 23, 1921, he was the son of the late Boyce Franklin and Lois Campbell Glenn.

He graduated from Boys High School and attended Clemson College. He served in both the infantry and Army Air Corps in World War II. He served as manager of the Building Material Equipment Co. for 20 years, and later as manager of Lowe's of Anderson for 20 years. A lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson, he served as a deacon for many years, and was a member of the Pioneer Sunday School Class.

He was a member of the Anderson Rotary Club, and was named a Paul Harris Fellow. Mr. Glenn was named a Life Member of the Anderson Salvation Army Advisory Board. He also served for many years on the Advisory Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lillian Brown Glenn, and his two daughters, Frances Singleton and her husband, Ed, and Elizabeth Marvin, all of Anderson.

He is also survived by his son, John Dexter Glenn, and his wife, Nancy, of Tampa, Fla. He also has two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Campbell of Anderson and Mrs. Jane Hyder and husband Jim of Augusta, Ga. A brother, William Ted Glenn, and his wife, Rita, live in Morgan Hill, Calif.

Grandchildren include two grandsons, Franklin Matthew Jones and Michael Keaton Jones of Columbia, and four grand- George Laws, 89, of 114 Spring Park Road, passed Tuesday, December away 5, 2006, after a period of declining health. Born in Washington County, Tennessee, he was a son of the late William Clayton and Myra Peterson Laws. Mr. Laws was retired from Rish Lumber, and was a member of Marietta First Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Lois Hall Laws; a daughter, Brenda Ward; a son and daughter-in-law, Lynwood and Linda Laws; a sister, Edna Johnson; grandchildren, Marty Gina Ward and Tommy Molly Laws; and great-grandchildren, Nikki Laws, Blake Laws and Jacob Austin Ward.

He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Maurice Ward; three brothers; and six sisters. Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at Cox Chapel Baptist Church. The family will be at 114 Spring Park Road, Marietta. Memorials may be made to Cox Chapel Baptist Church, 588 Hart Cut Road, Marietta, SC 29661. Michael Eubanks. Interment will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens near Woodruff, S.C. Eggers Funeral Home Boiling Springs Ollie Mae Nunn Greenville Ollie Mae Nunn, 73, of 211 Landwood died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.

Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Ollie Culp Harris and Charles B. Culp. Surviving are her sisters, Alice Shaver, Mary Carter, Von Harris and Eloise Turner; brothers, Ben Culp and Charles B. Culp; children, Jenny Stinson, Patty McCollum, Donnie Nunn and Ronnie Nunn; seven four greatgrandchildren; and her beloved dog, Lucy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Johnson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, from 1 to 1:45 p.m., at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with services to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Steve Silvey from Covenant Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C., officiating. A graveside service will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
