Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, April 5 at 4 p.m. in the Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive frienas Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Donald Roy Bowling Greenville Donald Roy Bowling died Sunday, March 29, 2009. Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Paul and Lila Henderson Bowling. Mr. Bowling served in the U.S. National Guard for six years, re.tired from Modine AfterMarket and was formerly employed with Fairway Ford as a wrecker driver.

He was an active member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Golden Glories. Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Judy Wyatt Bowling, of the home; a son, Donnie Bowling (Beth), of Greenville; two sisters, Olivia Chitwood (Arthur), of Williamston and Brenda Lesley, of Greenville; three brothers, William Bowling, Ronald Bowling (Brenda), and Rev. Mike Bowling (Charlene), all of Greenville; and two grandsons, Brandon and Nicholas Bowling. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Frances Burgess; and three brothers, Paul Junior Bowling, Bobby Joe Bowling, and Jimmy Bowling. Visitation was Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Breazeale Powdersville Jewel Wheeler Breazeale, 70, of Powdersville, died March 30, 2009, surrounded by his family, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Wheeler Breazeale and Marie Merritt Breazeale King. Mr. Breazeale retired from Franklin Dyed Yarns after 35 years of service. He is survived by his sister and caregiver, Marie Bolding and her husband Reverend Wilton Bolding; a daughter, Debbie Stillwell; grandchildren, Justin and Morgan Sarra; a son, Jason; two nieces, Tammy Turner (Dale) and Angela Barbrey (Donny); fellow golf-cart riders, Jackie Brown, Little Brooke and Andy; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 'Wednesday, April 1, 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 2 at 12 noon in the chapel at the funeral home. Burnett, died peacefully in his home on March 30, 2009, after having had a massive stroke in 1997. He was born June 13, 1917, in Brevard, N.C., and lived in Greenville most of his life. Jack graduated from The Citadel in 1939. He was an officer in the Army in World War II and a gentleman, always. He retired as Chairman of the Board of Southern Weaving Company in 1983 and enjoyed a retirement filled with hunting, fishing and golf.

He was a member of the Greenville Country Club, the Poinsett Club, the Cotillion Club, the Buckhorn Club and the Black Gnat of Jocassee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Pellett Burnett, who died in 1955, and his second wife, Jane White Burnett, who died in 1995. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Burnett Pamplin of Greenville; his son, Jackson W. Burnett III and his wife Sandra of Charleston; his daughter Peggy Burnett of Greenville, his daughter Sally Burnett and her husband Tom Sweeny of Charleston; his stepsons, Michael C. Mr. Byrum was born in Anderson. He graduated from Clemson, and was a professional engineer with GE until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Brown Byrum. Predeceased by his parents, William Joseph, Sr. and Ida Norryce Byrum; and a sister, Diane Byrum Baldwin. Charlie Davis Piedmont Charles "Charlie" David Davis, 62, husband of Gail Evans Davis, of 14 Pine Bluff Street, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at his home. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James Russell and Essie Mae Baynes Davis. He retired from Milan Trucking Company, a member of Carpenter's Chapel, and the Sportsman Lodge of Greenville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in- Museum in June 2009. Joe is responsible 'for having the major portion of The Holcombe Family Collection housed at the State Museum.

Joe was the younger son of the late Dr. Fred E. Holcombe and Lillian Speake Holcombe. Surviving are brother, Fred Edward "Scooter" Holcombe II and his wife Janet Hamer Holcombe of Cary, N.C.; two nephews, Fred Edward Holcombe III, wife Lisa and her daughter Cheyenne of Clinton, S.C.; and Joe Hamer Holcombe, wife Emily and sons Boman and Stone of Cary, N.C. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Gray Funeral Home of Clinton Charles Johnson Walhalla Charles "Charlie" Brooks Johnson, 85, husband of Juyne Lillian Moffitt Johnson, died Monday.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he participated in the Battle of the Bulge; Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Furman University, where he belonged to the Kappa Alpha Order. In addition to his wife, Mr. Johnson is survived by son, Charles Brooks Johnson, Jr.

of Charleston; daughter, Carol Ann Johnson Jones and husband, Larry of Athens, and grandchildren, Lawrence Floyd Jones, Charles Brooks Johnson, III, Frances Lillian Johnson and Lillian Elizabeth Jones. S.T. 'Theo' Lineberger, Jr. Travelers Rest Samuel Theodore "Theo" Lineberger, Jr, 96, 397 Lindsey Lake Road, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Falls Creek Living Center. He owned and operated Lineberger's Garage for 30 years. He is survived by a son, Samuel Ted Lineberger, III; four daughters, Martha L.

Hall, Garrie L. Kingsburg, Doris L. Hawkins, and Rena L. Merrill; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.

Thursday at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at their respective homes. James F. Reeves Easley James Franklin Reeves, 92, of 300 Ross Avenue, Easley, husband of the late Norma Chapman Reeves, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville. Mr.

Reeves was born in the Eastatoe Valley of Pickens County, a son of the late William Leander and Hattie Chapman Reeves. He was retired from Duke Power, Oconee Nuclear Station, near Seneca. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and dancing at the Senior Citizens Centers. He traveled most of the United States and Canada and spent several years in Oregon State. Mr.

Reeves is survived by his son, William Fred Reeves of Easley, two grandchildren, Tonja Reeves Ridgeway and her husband Scott of Greensboro, N.C., and Rhett Reeves of Chapin, S.C., one great grandchild, Caleb Reeves of Chapin, S.C., a sister, Lois Clyburn of Bluefield, and a brother, Truman Reeves of Los Angeles, and a number of nieces and In addition to his wife of 68 years, Norma, Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Tompkins, died Monday, March 30, 2009.

Born in Easley, he was the son of the late Taylor and Ada Tompkins. Mr. Tompkins was a retired electrical engineer and member of Advent United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter, Debby Peden and husband Sammy of Greenville; two sons, Steve Tompkins and wife Mollie of Durham, N.C., and Scott Tompkins and wife Susan of Greer; a stepdaughter, Amy Ellise; a stepson, Andy Ellise; 13 grandchildren; and four ndchildren. Mr.

Tompkins was predeceased by the mother of his children, Grace; a daughter, Donna Rozek; and a stepson, Chuck Ellise. Condolences: graymortuary.com Joe Leake Holcombe Clinton Joe Leake Holcombe, born July 17, 1953, and lifetime resident of Clinton, entered the Kingdom of God on Monday, March 30. Joe was a southern gentleman and an inspiration to all who knew him.

As a 1971 graduate of Clinton High School, he was honored to serve as a page in Senator Strom Thurmond's office. He continued education and received his degree in Political Science from Presbyterian College. In his younger years, Joe enjoyed playing the drums for the CHS band and with various bands across the Piedmont. He was a member of The First Baptist Church, published author, lecturer and South Carolina's foremost authority on early South Carolina pottery. In 1968 he began a lifelong journey with his family to preserve South Carolina tangible history.

He assisted in archeological excavations in Charleston, Columbia and early pottery sites both in the Edgefield District and in upper portions of the state. He collaborated with the State Museum to create exhibits including "Home Blown," a tribute to Laurens Glass Works and "Jugware, Johnson Family Stoneware from Laurens County." Recently, he was working on an exhibit of South Carolina pottery that. will open at the State Jimmy K. Tucker Laurens Jimmy Keith Tucker, 52, husband of Janice Bailey Tucker, of 206 Crescent Drive, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at the Hospice House of Laurens County. Born in Woodruff, he was a son of the late Leroy and Mary Harkins Montgomery.

He was the owner and operator of a logging truck business and member of Bellview Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a stepson, Tony Bailey and wife April of Laurens; stepdaughter, Amanda Turner and the late Adam Turner of Laurens; two brothers, Stanley Tucker of Spartanburg and Roger Harkins of Laurens; three sisters, Deb Nicholson of Iowa, Renee Palmer of Spartanburg, Lisha Montgomery of Laurens; five grandchildren, Austin Bailey, Kaitlyn Bailey, Emily Smith, and twins, Alyssa Alaina Turner; and special pets, Rusty and Gizzy.
